SINCRONET: Synchronization devices for electrical infrastructures, 5G and Ethernet (TSI-100102-2017-10). This project has been co-financed by the Spanish Ministry of Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda, in the framework of the Spanish National Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013-2016.
This project focuses on researching new mechanisms and electrical components to integrate multi-source timing references together with ultra-accurate and precise timing technologies in redundant network topologies.
The main objective is to provide a robust and fault tolerance solution capable of providing a unique timing interface composed of multiple time references (GNSS, PTP, White Rabbit, etc) that are transparent for the final user.
The consortium is formed by Seven Solutions and University of Granada.
